The Pitcher Inn, 275 Main St, Warren, VT

Spend a winter evening at The Pitcher Inn as we present an artist talk and discussion with painter Tracy Burtz followed by a fine dining experience at the inn’s acclaimed restaurant.

Tracy Burtz’s paintings are “mostly about being a woman”. She describes them as autobiographical, and representative of intimate moments from her life. The life snapshots that she portrays are easily relatable and become universally significant to the viewer. Her work often includes dogs as they play an important role in her life. Burtz paints about their fidelity and the fact that for her they are the true embodiment of constancy and love. She paints large scale works on canvas that allow us to easily feel part of an unfolding narrative. Tracy Burtz’s March event at the inn is the perfect intimate setting to learn more about the artist and her approach.

Guests are asked to arrive between 5:00 and 5:30 PM. Drink and dinner orders are taken before the talk begins. At 5:45 our artist will give a presentation that will give insight into their path to becoming an artist, their process and their inspirations. Guests are encouraged to ask questions! The discussion is followed by dinner. Ethan will join us as we savor a meal especially prepared by the Pitcher Inn’s chef.
