Description:

Edgewater Gallery seeks a creative and motivated individual to work as the assistant to the director and as outreach coordinator for the gallery. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who is interested in a career in the arts, learning the nuts and bolts of working in an art gallery, and is self motivated and eager to head up a new outreach program that will increase sales and extend our customer base.

Along with working with the gallery director and learning management of inventory, customer and artist relations, exhibition installation, marketing and sales, the assistant manager will work to establish relationships with interior designers, architects and fine art consultants and be responsible for travel in the New England area to develop these relationships.

Edgewater Gallery was established in 2009. We are a fine art gallery exhibiting contemporary and traditional fine art from over 80 emerging and established artists throughout the US and Canada. We are located in the town of Middlebury, Vermont a quintessentially beautiful New England town. We benefit from having easy access to lakes, hiking trails, ski mountains and cycling routes as well as having Middlebury College within walking distance.
