Ingress: A Group Exhibition with TJ Cunningham & Helen Shulman

On view for the month of October at our Merchant’s Row location, “Ingress”, a group exhibition with works by landscape painter TJ Cunningham and abstract mixed media artist Helen Shulman.

There will be an opening reception on Friday October 4th from 5-7PM with an artists’ talk and discussion at 6:00PM during the opening. The theme of “ingress” or “the act of entering” is explored in both artists’ collections for this show. There is exploration of both the physical ingress into the observation of the landscape and the emotional ingress into each artist’s compositions.  The similarities and differences of Cunningham and Shulman’s approach to this idea will be discussed at our artists’ talk on the 4th.
