Hannah’s new paintings combine space, light, and abstract forms to create beautifully engaging and original compositions.

I’m interested in the intersection of abstraction and representation. I want to combine observation with invention in ways that are surprising and new. In these paintings I have created space and luminosity by focusing on hard and soft edges and blending gradients of tone. Both solid structures and soft light unify the final composition.
