Edgewater Gallery at the Falls, One Mill Street, Middlebury

In the spirit of the season, Montreal based artist Holly Friesen is visiting the gallery to add new paintings to our collection and to give an artist demonstration that will enlighten and inspire and spread the joy that she feels in her connection to our natural world.

Friesen describes her landscape paintings as “paintings from within the landscape”. She strives to honor and represent the beauty of the northern New England and Canadian wilderness through her interpretations that exude the energy and drama of the landscape and of her inner soul.

From 1:00 – 4:00 PM on Wednesday December 18th visitors can stop in to watch her work, ask questions and learn more about the artist and her process. In this busy season leading up to the holidays we invite you to pause and enjoy a celebration of art, and the natural world around us.
