Join us at Middlebury Chocolates, our neighbors across the way in Frog Hollow, on Saturday, February 13th, 12-3pm, for a Trunk Show by Vermont jeweler Rebecca Haas. Her handmade, beautiful pieces have been very popular since we added her to the collection at the Gallery on the Green location. The simple delicacy of her affordable pieces makes them great for every day wear or as an elegant accent on special occasions. Her earrings, necklaces and bracelets make perfect gifts for that special someone on Valentines’s Day.

As a native Vermonter, Rebecca recently returned to Vermont after 12 years living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Upon returning, Rebecca re-created her studio in a converted dairy barn in Chester, VT, and now finds her creativity being nutured by that tranquil setting. Her pieces are primarily made from formed and hammered wire of various gauges, and each piece is handmade to order by the artist. Her work is minimalist in sensibility and draws its strength and definition from its balance, delicacy, and graceful investigation into positive and negative space.
