Susanne Strater: Painting The Winter Landscape In Pastel

Transform your favorite landscape photograph into a pastel painting. Intended for beginners, the workshop will cover the basics of applying pastels, planning a landscape from photos, considering composition and color, and finishing.  Participants should bring their own photos to use during the workshop.

The only supplies needed for this workshop are a set of good-quality pastels, such as a box of 36 or 48 Nupastels (which can easily be ordered online.)  All pastel paper needed for the workshop will be provided.

This workshop will be from 1-5pm both Saturday, January 26th and Sunday the 27th at Edgewater at the Falls.
Cost of the workshop: $175/person – Advanced registration is required
