Jesse Hooker, graduate of Middlebury College’s class of 2002, creates handcrafted furniture from reclaimed, repurposed New York City structures. We’ve recently received the console featured above, which is made from one 10′ antique pine joist, salvaged from a warehouse on Troutman Street. The tins were originally small baking tins, recycled as parts trays at an auto body shop. Come by the gallery to see Jesse’s console as part of our Middlebury Alumni show, “NEW CHAPTERS”.
