Born and raised in Ohio, Timothy Horn graduated from The Cooper Union School of Art in NYC then worked as a graphic designer for almost 15 years before discovering his love for painting. He now lives in Northern California, paints full-time and teaches painting workshops around the country and abroad. His subject matter often includes structural elements such as old buildings and vehicles, with his paintings of Airstream trailers among some of his most popular and most recognizable. Horn’s paintings are as much about the subjects he paints as they are about the effects of light within a particular scene. He has won numerous awards, has been featured in several magazines, including the cover of South West Art in 2012.
