I paint landmarks of memory and space, conjuring up encounters I have had along the way. They take me to places that are embossed in my heart and imprinted in my mind.
Landmarks are my muses with stories to share- minimizing the idea and maximizing the feeling and experience that have come out of time. I let the paintings want what they want. I do not paint what I see, I paint what I saw, like playing the notes of music that aren’t really there.
