Imaginary Landscape

Come spend the day with artist Sage Tucker-Ketcham to start and complete a 8 x 10 landscape painting.  She will first discuss the concepts of imaginary landscapes.  She will then look to our memories for a scene to create a landscape that is meaningful and provokes a sense of place.  Each artist will start with a drawing and then move to the canvas.  Our first layer will be made with Acrylic paint.  After our morning session we will move to water based oil paint for our second layer.  Sage will do a small color mixing demo and then each participant will do a small color study. After this we move back into our painting to complete a finished  painting.
