October Featured at Edgewater on the Green: Group Show “Of the Land”

On Saturday, October 15th, from 4-6pm we will celebrate the Opening Reception for our Group Exhibit “Of the Land.” A collection of work interpreting the land through the eyes of six Vermont artists, this show represents a range of mediums. Featured artists are: Julia Purinton with her romantic landscape paintings; Tom Marrinson working with clay from the earth to create vividly colored sculptures; Sabra Field whose work tells the story of the land and life within; Tom Dunne, manipulating woods of Vermont into stunning vessels; Gary Hall who focuses his lens on his surroundings and captures the drama that lies within the shadows and light; and Jen Violette whose mixed media sculptures of glass, wood and metal explore all the riches that come from working the land.
